Baobá

Africa’s iconic “Tree of Life”

The fabrics of this colorful collection are inspired in the colors and patterns of Africa and its wildlife. Native to the African Savannah where the climate is extremely dry and arid, the Baobab tree is a symbol of life in a landscape where little else thrives.
These fabrics provide a new range of textures, prints and colors which evoke memories of the warm, sensual and living landscapes of Africa.
In our “Safari” print we can see the Baobá tree surrounded by African animals. The Baobá is a lifegiver for African wildlife providing its own ecosystem by providing food and shelter for a myriad of species from monkeys and lions to the mighty African elephant.
The geometric fluid patterns reminding traditional African designs, in our “Malawi, Serengeti and Tanzania” prints, bring dynamic and boldness to the collection. They provide motifs in combination with soft textures “Mursi” and little warm jacquards called “Masai”. The corduroy velvet “Nairobi” for upholstery with its´ classic and sophisticated look reminisce comfortable and classic ambiances.
Working with fabrics can be not only an efficient choice but also a challenging process which can be used to apply our life experience and memories.
